چکیده
This study aims to investigate the changes and significance of the peripheral blood T lymphocytes for patients with Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) related acute-on-chronic liver failure. 50 patients with HBV related acute-on-chronic liver failure (liver failure group), 50 patients with Chronic Hepatitis B (CHB group), and 20 healthy persons taking physical examination in the corresponding period (healthy control group) were selected to determine the proportions of CD3+, CD4+, CD8+ T lymphocytes and CD4+CD25+ regulatory T cells (Tregs) in peripheral blood by flow cytometry. Compared with healthy control group, the proportions of peripheral blood CD3+, CD8+ T lymphocytes and CD4+CD25+ Tregs significantly decreased in liver failure group, while the proportion of CD4+ CD25+ Tregs significantly increased in CHB group. Taken together, these data suggest that the changes in peripheral blood T lymphocytes, CD8+ T lymphocytes and CD4+CD25+ Tregs are involved in HBV related acute-on-chronic

Molecular Epidemiology of Torque Teno Virus (TTV) Isolated from in Healthy and Subjects with Chronic Hepatitis B and C in Jahrom City of Iran
Background and Aims: Torque teno virus (TTV) is a DNA virus that isolated from the serum of a Japanese patient without A-G transfusion-transmitted hepatitis and other etiology. TTV is detectable in plasma and peripheral blood mononuclear cells, different body fluids and secretions such as stools, saliva, semen, vaginal fluid. The genome exhibits high diversity that has enabled the determination...
متن کاملExpression of Human Cytokine Genes Associated with Chronic Hepatitis B Disease Progression
Background: Hepatitis viruses are non-cytopathic viruses that lead to the infection and pathogenesis of liver diseases as a result of immunologically mediated event. Objective: To investigate the expression of human inflammatory cytokines in chronic hepatitis B patients according to the severity of the infection. Methods: We recruited a total of 120 patients, 40 of whom from cirrhotic, 40 non-c...
متن کاملAssessment the Epidemiological Status of Patients with Acute Liver Hepatitis Referred to Shahid Sadoughi Hospital of Yazd From 2015 to 2018
Introduction: Acute hepatitis has several causes. Transfusion of non-infected blood to the virus and avoidance of undesirable social contacts have reduced the prevalence of hepatitis B and C transmission. Improved socioeconomic status and access to healthy food and water have also reduced the prevalence of hepatitis E and A. The transition from Hyper Endimicity to Intermediate or Low Endimicity...
متن کاملEvaluation of miR-101 Level in Patients with Chronic Hepatitis B Virus Infection and Liver Cirrhosis
ABSTRACT Background and Objective: MiRNAs are small RNAs that are expressed in most eukaryotes, and can regulate gene expression by attaching to the 3’ end of target mRNA. MicroRNA-101 (miR-101) post-transcriptional regulation is important for host-virus interactions. In addition, miR-101 has a tumor suppressive role in liver cancer and metastasis, an...
متن کاملMolecular detection of hepatitis delta virus in blood donors with RT-PCR
Abstract Background and Objective: Hepatitis delta virus is an imperfect virus with RNA and its activity depends on the presence of hepatitis B virus. This virus can lead to acute and chronic diseases in the liver. This study aimed to detect the hepatitis delta virus in blood donors with positive Hepatitis B Surface Antigens (HBsAg). Material and Methods: In this Study, 350 serum sa...
